Littlest Fastest Man Alive by ponymonster Littlest Fastest Man Alive by ponymonster
So hi wow I have not been doing very well at this whole "staying active on dA" thing huh? I'M SORRY GUYS I'm...still not dead x'D I haven't finished many drawings recently just sketching so there's really nothing to upload usually lol

But here is a plushie I made!! It's the Flash! Cause he's my favourite superhero! And I wanted to practise with my embroidery machine so whoo first ever thing I've made with machine embroidery! I learned stuff! EXCLAMATION MARKS!!

ps. I will never make a plushie with such skinny arms ever again because goddamn it took like an hour to turn each one right side out I GOTTA STOP MAKING TINY STUFF

The Flash copyright/owned by DC comics
Plushie made by me (*ponymonster)

Aaaaah he's just so adorable! I love him!
Gonna be really rude and ask what colour/kind minky you used for his chin, I'm struggling to find flesh tones, and that looks so perfect XD For first real goes on the embroidery machine you've done really well! Better than my first goes XD What model embroidery machine have you got? :D

Thank you!! I'm so flattered to hear that from you, your work is beautiful ;v; <3 I've got a janome memory craft 350e. What do you have? :)

It's called "cream cloud", I bought it from a seller on ebay! Unfortunately I was a little disappointed with the quality, it seems somewhat thinner and the nap isn't quite as dense as other minky I've bought elsewhere. :( The colour is great though! If you want to give it a go the seller's name is igloo0203 :)

Aww thanks! I love your stuff too, your no-faces are absolutely adorable XD Makes me wish I was going to MCM Expo in May, but I'm probably going to end up going in October TT_TT

Ohh Igloo! I bought some from them about a year ago- I have to agree, it is always a bit thinner and shorter, and I have to wonder how they store it, I've had a colours come to me looking awfully wrinkled, haha. But I do like their 5mm minky, I have some in navy and it's lovely  In this instance I'm thinking thinner might be a bit nicer, to have a different texture to hair etc etc

I almost went for the Janome :meow: but I got a Husqvarna Viking instead and it's really lovely. It's so fun to embroider things, especially once you get the hang of things :D

ooh I will probably be going in october too, will you have a table there? :D

Yeah mine was a little wrinkly in places too, and for some reason there was masking tape on one edge...?? xD but I'm not too bothered, it was a decent price and it serves its purpose after all! I haven't bought any 5mm before, is it noticeably more fluffy?

Yeah, I'm really enjoying it! It's taking a while to get used to and the software for making your own designs is a little complicated for me, but I think I'm getting there  and it just looks so much prettier than any other methods I've tried before for detailing :)
